A burst supply line, a failed water heater, an overflowing tub, a storm that found its way through the roof. However the water got in, the job is the same: stop it, get it out, dry the structure completely, and put the property back the way it was. Complete Water Removal does all four with one crew.
What we do on a water damage call
- Find and stop the source. Thermal imaging and moisture meters show us where the water went, not just where you can see it.
- Extract standing water with truck-mounted and portable units, from carpet, pad, hard floors and crawl spaces.
- Remove what cannot be saved (soaked drywall, pad, insulation) and protect what can.
- Dry the structure with commercial air movers and dehumidifiers, with moisture readings logged daily until the numbers say dry.
- Treat for mold and odor with antimicrobial application where materials were wet.
- Document everything for your insurance claim: photos, readings, line-item estimate.
- Rebuild: drywall, paint, flooring, trim and cabinets, by the same team.
Categories of water, and why they matter
Clean water from a supply line is handled differently from grey water from a washing machine or black water from a sewer backup. We classify the water on arrival and follow IICRC S500 standards for each, so the right materials are saved, the right ones are removed, and your family is not exposed to contamination.
Working with your insurance
Most homeowner policies cover sudden, accidental water damage. We photograph and measure everything, write estimates in the format adjusters expect and work directly with your carrier. You choose your contractor; we make sure the paperwork never slows the job down.
